Ouran High School Host Club aka Why am I entertained by pointless shit?

Ouran Private Academy is defined by one, prestigious families, and two, wealth. And prosperous people have a lot of time on their hands. Therefore, this Ouran Host Club is about these handsome guys that have time, giving hospitality to these lovely ladies who also have time…and profit off of them.

Ouran High School Host Club has to be one of the most pointless anime series I’ve ever seen. Swear to gawd.

Why did I watch 26 episodes of this without getting bored? How did I even.

Haruhi, a commoner, gets in this pretentious school for super rich kids. She is mistaken for a boy by the members of the Host Club. She breaks an expensive, weird vase and, because she can’t afford to pay for it, she is forced to join their club as a male host. That’s it. Other than this, there’s nothing else to tie the episodes together.

Plot twist

No plot twist.

Tamaki’s sudden almost-departure can hardly be considered a plot twist.

The last two episodes tend to make a little bit of sense. Actually, no. Only one episode and a half. The ending is BULLSHIT. Makes you feel ashamed of yourself.

But it’s entertaining to a point I can’t explain. You don’t really get bored watching it. Maybe because you know you don’t have to expect something to happen. Fuck this shit.

I don’t regret watching it and I even gave it 3.5 stars out of 5.

Don’t ask me why.

Also. Hikaru and Kaoru remind me of Fred and George from Harry Potter. Is there some kind of stereotype for redhead twin brothers or what?
