Fall anime to keep an eye on

Alright, guys. Summer is over already, which means the fall anime season is right around the corner. AniChart looks promising this season, so here are the titles I’m gonna try to watch next. This is, of course, if they don’t turn out to be utter bullshit. (I’m looking at you, Shimoneta)

Noragami Aragoto

The second season of Noragami. I’ve only watched the first season after hearing literally everywhere about it. The fact that I loved it doesn’t come as a surprise. I was indeed expecting a darker series, something more depressing, but I really enjoyed the comedy and the light mood. Definitely looking forward to the next season. I hope it’s gonna be at least as great.

Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru

Shit-ass long title. I was thinking about typing it, but I gave up in the process. This is supposed to be a mystery series about what seems to be a really fucked couple that gets involved into random incidents involving bones. Because it makes a lot of sense, idk. Doesn’t look necessarily promising, but it intrigues me enough as to start watching it, at least.

Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider

Another drama / mystery series and this one sounds better than the one above. According to ANN “The story of the original Subete ga F ni Naru novel revolves around Souhei Saikawa, a member of the Saikawa Research Lab. He goes on a vacation held by the lab, and Moe Nishinosono, the daughter of his mentor, joins the group on their vacation despite not being a part of the lab. There, the two end up finding a corpse. The two work together to solve the mysteries of what becomes a serial murder case.” Let alone the plot, I dig the art style.

I think I told you before how much I enjoy seinen anime, as I got tired of high school characters and all that stuff. Well, this one seems to a drama about a brilliant doctor that practises without a license. I wish they would do some kind of anime version of House MD, but I’m sure this is not it. But we shall see what’s up with it.

Getting to the short series section…

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!

This is the series I’m looking forward to the most. I’m a fan of the manga, I thought it was really cute and nice and that good stuff. Sadly, it’s a short. Happily, I think they would have just screwed it up if they adapted it into a regular series. I mean…it’s a 4 panel comic. But, yeah. Definitely, definitely gonna watch this.

Kowabon

I’m not expecting much out of this one. They said they are trying out a new animation technique and I’m not sure I’m gonna be a fan of it. I prefer sticking to the classics. I’m a simpleton. I only put it on my list because I still hope there will be a decent horror series in the anime world, be it short or regular sized. Although I’m not sure this is gonna be it.

This is basically it. There’s also some Himouto! Umaru-chan OVA on the list that I’m gonna watch and, of course, the series that I’m gonna pick up after hearing everyone’s enthusiasm. As always.

Thus being said, what are you guys looking forward to?

Noragami! Lol, I feel like on YT and here everyone jokes about riding the hype train for it but then when I talk with friends they have no idea what it is, it’s rather confusing xD have you read the manga? I think it does a better job at the darker theme but the anime is a definite plus for me. The Perfect Insider sounds really interesting, I’ll have to check that one out.

Thank you so much. I’m gonna start working on them, I postponed them too much and now I’m gonna have a hard time. Sorry if it will take a little long. ^^’
Also, no, I did not read the manga. I mainly read manga when I’m at work, during break time, and I want something that doesn’t require too much brain. xD
